Morgan Ralph

My name is Morgan Ralph, and I am a Master of Public Administration Candidate at the Virginia Tech Center for Public Administration and Policy. My portfolio highlights my favorite papers, presentations, and experiences while in the MPA Program. 

MPA Portfolio

The Virginia Tech MPA Portfolio is a project where students reflect their time in the program. Its overall purpose is to demonstrate that a student’s educational experiences, work, and new knowledge show that she or he has developed the competencies expected of an MPA graduate.

2025 Virginia Government Finance Officers Association Pettigrew Scholarship Recipient 

The scholarship was presented to me in May 2025 at the Spring VGFOA conference, after effectively demonstrating my capabilities for local government finance in my MPA studies.

Energy Conservation and Engagement Coordinator

My role as a Graduate Assistant is the Energy Conservation and Engagement Coordinator with Virginia Tech's Division of Facilities Office of Energy Management, where I conducted data analysis, lead reporting and presentations, and develop successful community engagement programs on energy conservation.

Careers in Energy: Environmental Stewardship 

I developed and directed 2 Question and Answer Panels with successful women in the Energy Engineering and Facilities Management in March 2025 as part of my Graduate Assistantship, to educate and inspire students at Virginia Tech to pursue careers in the energy industry.
